GooGa Privacy Policy
GooGa (the "App") is provided by Nine Realms Creation Limited ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, disclose, and protect your information, and how you can manage it.
This English version prevails. Any Traditional Chinese text on this page is provided for reference only.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to the GooGa mobile app, related web pages, account services, content management, customer support, and safety handling. Third-party websites, app stores, payment services, login services, and external pages have their own privacy rules. Please review their policies when you use them.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account and Identity Information
- User ID, nickname, avatar, profile, language, time zone, registration source, last login time, and last active time.
- Email address, phone number, verification status, and password hash. Some fields, including email address, phone number, birthday, region, and occupation, may be encrypted or hashed according to our system rules.
- If you choose Apple Sign In or another third-party login method, we may process the account identifier, authorization status, email address, or relay email status returned by that provider.
- Account security information, such as login devices, session status, logout records, restriction status, and account deletion request time.
2.2 Profile and Character Settings You Provide
- Gender, birthday, region, occupation, profile text, and other information you choose to provide.
- Names, gender, personality type, character descriptions, and other settings you provide for chat experiences.
- Characters, worlds, character settings, story settings, image assets, voice settings, and public content that you create or manage.
2.3 Chat, Social, Community, and Creation Content
- Your conversations with characters, world chats, friend chats, group chats, message status, read status, rewrite, deletion, and context records.
- Friend relationships, contacts, following, blocking, notes, interaction records, moments, posts, comments, favorites, likes, reports, and moderation results.
- Images, audio, text, reference materials, covers, comments, world settings, and character settings that you upload or generate.
- To help characters remember context, we may retain summaries, preferences, states, and interaction records related to conversations.
2.4 Images, Audio, and Files
- Avatars, chat images, moment images, community images, creation images, reference images, and generated results.
- Recordings, transcribed text, voice descriptions, preview audio, and generated audio submitted or created when you use voice features.
- File name, file size, format, upload time, storage location, thumbnail, and deletion status.
2.5 Payment and Subscription Information
- Order number, product ID, product name, amount, currency, payment channel, transaction identifier, subscription status, refund status, and delivery status.
- Transaction receipts, purchase tokens, device ID, and network address needed for payment verification.
- Diamond, membership, spending, refund, gift, and system grant balance records.
- We do not directly store full bank card numbers or full payment account details. These are usually processed by app stores or payment channels.
2.6 Device, Network, and Usage Information
- Installation-level device ID, platform, device model, system version, app version, network status, language, and time zone.
- Push token, notification settings, quiet hours settings, delivery records, and click status.
- Feature usage data, such as opening the App, logging in, entering worlds, chatting, publishing content, purchasing, subscribing, generating images, playing audio, and page interactions.
- Troubleshooting data, such as crash information, error messages, service response status, performance data, and necessary security records.
2.7 Permission Data
The App may request the following system permissions. You can disable them in system settings, but some features may be affected.
- Photo or media permission: used to select, upload, or save images.
- Microphone permission: used for recording, voice input, and voice features.
- Speech recognition permission: used to convert your speech into text.
- Notification permission: used for new messages, interactions, announcements, and service reminders.
- Network permission: used to connect, sync data, load content, and verify payments.
The App currently does not read your contacts, does not request precise location permission, and does not use third-party advertising tracking tools. If we add new sensitive permissions later, we will notify you before use.
3. How We Use Information
- Create accounts, log you in, verify identity, maintain sessions, manage devices, and protect account security.
- Provide chat, character interaction, moments, community, creation, image generation, voice, notification, and customer support features.
- Retain your content, relationships, preferences, conversation context, creation progress, and balance records.
- Process orders, delivery, subscriptions, refunds, billing, membership benefits, and risk control.
- Review content, handle reports, restrictions, appeals, anti-spam, anti-abuse, and security incidents.
- Analyze product usage, troubleshoot issues, and improve stability, speed, and feature quality.
- Comply with law, handle disputes, respond to authorities, and protect users, the platform, and public safety.
4. Information Visible to Others
- Your nickname, avatar, profile, public page, public characters, public worlds, public posts, comments, likes, favorite counts, and public creations may be visible to other users.
- Content you actively publish in chats, moments, community areas, or creation areas will be shown according to product rules and visibility settings.
- Private chats are shown only to the relevant conversation parties. Recipients may still screenshot, retell, or separately save content. Do not send content that you do not want others to know.
- During reports, appeals, and safety handling, authorized personnel may review relevant content.
5. AI and Content Safety Processing
- To generate replies, images, or voices, we process the text, images, recordings, context, and related settings you submit.
- To make character responses more coherent, we may use your past interactions, preferences, relationship states, and summary data.
- To maintain safety, avatars, images, posts, comments, worlds, characters, reports, and some submitted content may be reviewed by automated systems or authorized personnel.
- Private chats are generally not publicly displayed. However, if you report content, appeal a decision, trigger a safety risk, have a dispute, or legal requirements apply, we may review necessary content.
- We do not sell your chat content to third parties and do not use it for third-party advertising tracking.
6. How We Share Information
We share information only where necessary. We do not sell your personal information.
- Cloud, storage, and content acceleration services: used to provide the service, store images, audio, text, records, and speed up access.
- AI, image, and voice services: used to generate replies, images, voices, review content, and process features you choose to use.
- Login services: used for third-party login, authorization status updates, and account security handling.
- App stores and payment services: used for order verification, subscription management, refunds, delivery, and risk control.
- Push, email, and SMS services: used for notifications, verification codes, service reminders, and security alerts.
- Monitoring and analytics services: used for crash troubleshooting, performance monitoring, product statistics, and service quality improvement.
- Operations and support tools: used for content management, user support, report handling, appeal handling, and audits.
- Legal, compliance, and safety recipients: where required by law, authorities, disputes, fraud prevention, or rights protection.
7. Cross-Border Processing
We are located in Hong Kong. Some cloud, storage, AI, payment, login, notification, email, monitoring, and analytics services may be provided by service providers in different regions. Your information may therefore be processed or stored outside your location. We will take necessary safeguards as required by applicable law.
8. Retention
- While your account exists, we generally retain account data, content, relationships, preferences, balances, orders, subscriptions, and necessary service records.
- Chats, moments, community content, and creation content are retained until you delete them, your account is deleted, the content is removed, or system cleanup conditions are met.
- Some temporary upload links, temporary audio, temporary images, and short-term task data are retained only while needed for the feature.
- Troubleshooting, safety, moderation, and operation records are retained for troubleshooting, safety, audit, and compliance needs.
- Payment, refund, tax, finance, anti-fraud, dispute, and legal compliance records may be retained for the period required by law or reasonable business needs.
- Backup data is retained during backup cycles and then overwritten or cleaned according to system rules.
9. Account Deletion and Data Deletion
- You can request account deletion through the account security or settings entry in the App.
- After account deletion, we will invalidate login sessions and stop displaying, delete, or anonymize personal profile, chat, relationship, device, push, content, and creation data associated with the account.
- If deletion involves a large amount of cross-system data, completion may take time. During deletion, the relevant account will first become unavailable.
- Completed payment, refund, risk control, audit, dispute, and legally required records may continue to be retained for the necessary period.
- If you have a subscription, deleting your account may not automatically cancel app store renewal. Please manage renewal through Apple or Google subscription settings.

10. Your Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable law, you may exercise the following rights:
- View, correct, and update account data, avatar, profile, preferences, and notification settings.
- Manage login devices and log out of the current device or all devices.
- Delete some content you publish, such as chats, posts, comments, images, worlds, or characters.
- Request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or a copy of your personal information.
- Withdraw system permissions you have granted, such as photo, microphone, speech recognition, and notification permissions.
- Object to moderation, account restrictions, reports, or appeal results.
- If you are in an applicable region, you may also have rights to object, data portability, limit use of sensitive information, and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.
To protect account security, we may need to verify your identity before handling a rights request. Some requests may not be fully satisfied because of law, finance, risk control, safety, disputes, or rights of others. We will explain the reason where appropriate.
11. Security Measures
- Data is transmitted through secure connections.
- Some sensitive fields are stored with encryption, hashing, or masking.
- We use access controls, least-necessary access, operation audits, and security monitoring.
- Issue and performance data is designed to filter passwords, login credentials, full request content, and other sensitive text where possible.
- For external services, we use necessary key management, signature checks, rate limits, and retry protection.
No system can guarantee absolute security. Please protect your account, password, verification codes, and device. If you believe your account or data is at risk, contact us immediately.
12. Minors
- The App is not directed to children under 13.
- Users under 18 should use the App with the consent and guidance of a guardian.
- If we discover that we have mistakenly collected information from a minor that should not have been collected, we will delete it or handle it according to law as soon as possible.
- Guardians who believe a minor has provided us with personal information may contact us using the details below.
13. Automated Processing and Recommendations
We use automated rules to support content safety, anti-abuse, risk control, recommendation ranking, message reminders, and service quality analysis. These processes are mainly used to provide features and maintain safety. If processing has a significant impact on content or an account, you may appeal through the product entry or contact details.
14. California Users
If California privacy law applies, you may request to know the categories of personal information we collect, use, and disclose; request deletion or correction; request limitation on the use of sensitive personal information; and exercise your rights without discriminatory treatment. We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
15. EU, UK, and Other Regions
If relevant data protection law applies, our legal bases for processing personal information may include performance of a contract, consent, compliance with legal obligations, protection of vital interests, and legitimate interests in safety, service improvement, anti-fraud, dispute handling, and product operations. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent.
16. Policy Updates
We may update this Policy because of product changes, legal requirements, or operational needs. For material changes, we will notify you through in-app prompts, announcements, page notices, or other reasonable methods. The updated Policy takes effect from the date stated in the publication or notice.
